Heirloom Wedding Album | Redtree Albums

Happy Friday party people! It's the beginning of my 30th birthday weekend! Yesterday I went shopping with my momma and she surprised me by having my Aunt June (my godmother) join us! It was a much needed girls day! I am so thankful that I have a more flexible schedule so I don't miss moments like that. The rest of the weekend will be full of wine drinking and taco eating! Cheers to 30! Today was a work day. Lots to get done before a weekend off. And I got a little surprise in the mail today!

My sample album from Redtree Albums came today! Yippee! One of my goals this year was to offer heirloom albums for my wedding couples (or families too) as an a-la-carte item. I really wanted to find a company that made a quality product that they would share with family for years to come. There are so many companies out there but Redtree Albums really stood out to me. Friends recommended and I decided to try it out! They have linen and leather options, cover embossing, and picture window covers. I personally love the look of the linen covers and they have some unique colors to pick from. This one is just a sample so they don't emboss on sample albums. But I love the linen so much I don't even mind. This color is Blue Smoke on a 10x10 flushmount album with 12 spreads printed on semi matte pages.

Christine and Ryan's downtown city wedding from last fall was absolutley perfect and I was dying to see it in print. Here is the final product!

Stephanie + John | Washington PA Wedding

Stephanie and John are MARRIED!! Pittsburgh weather was more like Seattle this weekend (or for the last month). But that didn't cloud the joy of Stephanie and John's Washington, PA wedding day.  The ladies were getting ready at the historic George Washington Hotel where I met up with them. It was a rush of emotions as Stephanie slid into her dress.  I am often choking back tears behind my camera. When the bride gets in her dress and when she walks down the aisle are usually the culprits. I think John's expression says it all - she was a stunning bride.

Stephanie and John - I adore you both! I am so luck to have met you and witness your love story. I wish a lifetime of love and happiness. Always remember how you felt on this day.

Weekend Fix | Bridal Shower Details

Oh  man, do I love details! It's all about the details for me. If I wasn't a photographer, I might have to switch to event planning. Over the weekend, I was on the other side of the wedding scene, as a bridesmaid. My very first and longest standing best friend, Amy,  is getting married in June. If the shower was anything like the wedding will be - it's going to be amazing! Myself and the other bridesmaids, along with Amy's mother, hosted her bridal shower. Amy's mom opened up her home to friends and family on the most beautiful weekend, no showers in sight. We decked the halls in blush, cream, and gold. Each bridesmaid had her specialty and it all came together perfectly! Even the gifts looked styled, all propped up on the warm wooden desk and tied with bows.
