I just adore this family and their son, Beau, is turning one! I have been photographing him since birth and it has been such a treat to watch him grow. I know I will be having these same feelings of nostalgia when our little girl turns one. 

Beau loves his tractor so we had to include that in our session. We ended our session with a cake smash in the woods (yes, mom and dad agreed!). By the look on his face, I would say he enjoyed it. 

The heat and rain finally subsided in Pittsburgh this week. Yay - I am doing my happy photographer dance - you just can't see it :). Wednesday was such a beautiful night to meet the 'S' Family at Hartwood Acres for a family session. Alaina turned 6 months old and she is literally the happiest baby I have ever met. Usually, the little tots are the hardest to photograph. Smiles are elusive and we need an arsenal of toys or puffs. Not Alaina. She smiled for the camera. Showed off her two teefs and giggled for her bear. I honestly couldn't narrow it down for a preview. I loved spending time with this family!

This newborn session has so many of my favorite things. A new baby, a fur baby, beautiful light, and a happy family. It's moments like this when I have to pinch myself that I get to use my craft to capture these moments for people. Take a peek at Connor's newborn session!
